But before we jump into it, it's fitting to take a brief moment to mark the passing of Veterans day and Remembrance day. New Circuit Magazine Issue

We're entering an age of uncertainty where the integrity of electronic media cannot be assumed. We need to adjust our behaviors and processes appropriately. How can the growing threat of Deep Fake affect executive protection operations?

The Circuit Magazine Podcast

Being a modern professional security driver in the world of executive protection takes a lot more than knowing how to get your client from point A to B.

If you’re a protector, you know the sense of relief you feel when you turn up to an assignment and realise, you’re working alongside a skilled and professional security driver. But what does it take to get to that standard?

On today’s show, our guest is Neil Davis OBE, Co-Founder of Secure Ground Transportation, and a long-time veteran of the industry. We’re going to discuss the role of the security driver on EP operations and we’ll also cover…

  • How protected Mobility has evolved, coming out of the pandemic, and what changes have you seen in client vehicle selection?

  • What are the limitations of self-driving vehicles and do they have a place in executive protection?

  • With all the advancements in tech, what is being done to address the threat of espionage and safeguard privacy for principals when on the move?

“The term security driver and security driving. They’re not marketing buzzwords. That is a statement of training.”

Situation Report by RANE

Turkey’s actions will limit one major point of entry to Belarus, which will help lessen flows of illegal migrants over Belarus' EU borders. And Iraqi airlines’ earlier decision to forbid Belarus ticket sales to the same nationals could further slow the migrant flow. Turkey’s announcement does not mean Ankara will stop using the migrant crisis as a negotiating tactic. Just this week, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made harsh comments about Greece and stated that Turkey could "open the border gates" if necessary.

An Ethiopian foreign ministry spokesperson told reporters that to begin negotiations, the Tigray People's Liberation Front must withdraw from the Amhara and Afar regions, stop attacks on Ethiopian forces and recognize the legitimacy of the Ethiopian government

As the second year of Ethiopia’s Tigray conflict begins, neither side is willing to negotiate, which may result in a stalemate or a bloody, protracted conflict in the event that TPLF forces advance on Addis Ababa.
