It’s been an interesting week with lots going on. The biggest narcotics bust in recent history ($1.4 Billion), Bill Gates regretting the time he spent with a sex trafficker, and California nearly banning bacon!

Now, if that’s not enough for you, let’s take a look at what’s been happening On the Circuit. This week we're looking at Managing Violence as we’re joined by industry noteworthy, Joe Saunders, to help us understand why every protector must be able to understand workplace violence and how to de-escalate it. Some of his top tips for leveling up as a protector are sure to raise an eyebrow or two but are definitely worth some serious consideration!

Elsewhere, On the Circuit...

Violence against security workers appears to be at an all-time high. A survey of 1200 members of the UK security industry reveals the levels of violence security workers face every day.

Key Findings:

· 36% are physically attacked monthly

· 36% use physical force Weekly

· 51% are verbally abused every time they work

· 57% say that an incident has affected their mental state more than 24 hours after the event
